The i-COACH project aims to provide SMEs with the skills and competences needed to support the implementation of successful internship programmes via an innovative training course and methodology, and to foster the return on investment to enable small companies to benefit from work-based learning (WBL) and individual interns or to successfully integrate them into their working
environment.

In order to achieve these purposes, the project envisages the creation of a new professional profile, i.e. the i- COACH expert and the promotion of an innovative approach to update the target groups’ (TGs) mentality and skills on the management of internship/apprenticeship implementation.

The i-COACH partnership firmly believes that, even more in the current hard times, investing in staff training to bring up quality internships will equip potential end users with the necessary knowledge required to create and manage an internship program or support employees in their transition to a new role within their organization
