The Erasmus Plus project, i-Coach: Innovative Toolbox for Internship Implementation is set to revolutionize the support provided to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in fostering internship programs. Through a structured training course and an innovative methodology, i-Coach aims to equip SMEs with the necessary skills and competencies to seamlessly integrate internship initiatives into their operations.

Coordinated by the Business Innovation Center Innobridge in Ruse, Bulgaria, the project collaborates with six organizations from five European countries to bring about positive changes in the landscape of workplace-based learning (WBL). The partner organizations include the Belgian-Italian Chamber of Commerce (Belgium), ECOLE VET Center (Italy), A&A Emphasys (Cyprus), FEUZ (Spain), Politeknika Txorierri (Spain) and the North-East Regional Development Agency (Romania).

At its core, i-Coach seeks not only to facilitate the implementation of internship programs but also to enhance the return on investment, enabling small companies to fully leverage workplace learning. The project recognizes the value of seamlessly integrating interns into the work environment, ensuring a symbiotic relationship between educational institutions and the business sector.

The training course developed by i-Coach is tailored to address the specific needs and challenges faced by SMEs in managing internship programs. By fostering a collaborative European partnership, the project aims to create a versatile toolbox that empowers businesses to navigate the complexities of internship implementation.

As the i-Coach project unfolds, it holds the promise of not only transforming the internship landscape for SMEs but also contributing to the broader goal of creating a skilled and adaptable workforce across Europe. Through innovative methodologies and strategic collaboration, i-Coach emerges as a beacon for driving positive change in the realm of workplace-based learning.
